National animal shelter campaign
Calling all animal lovers! Shelters across the country care for millions of dogs and cats and they need your help! Our friends at YouGiveGoods have organized a nationwide Animal Shelter Campaign in recognition of #GivingTuesday, a movement to create a national day of giving. The Animal Shelter Campaign supports over 50 shelters in 24 states and Washington, D.C. and runs through the end of the year. So far, $40,662.00 worth of goods has been raised!
You can support the campaign by purchasing pet food and other supplies at the YouGiveGoods website to donate to any of the shelters taking part in the campaign. The items you purchase to donate will be delivered to the shelter of your choice. If you are not sure of which shelter to choose, you may choose whether to help dogs, cats or both and we will ensure the products you donated are given where the need is greatest. You will receive a tax receipt by email for your donation.
