Simple Probiotic Smoothie Recipe
If this past 6 months has shown us anything, it’s that we need to find little ways every day to strengthen our immunity and that of our family. We try to maintain good health by washing our hands, wearing a mask, using an alcohol-based hand sanitizer, and getting fresh air and exercise. We try to eat enough healthy foods each day to fight off inflammation and improve gut health.
One of the most important things to incorporate into our new daily routine is probiotics. These gut-friendly bacteria can be found in fermented foods and natural probiotic supplements, and are the key to maintaining a healthy immune system. Try this Simple Probiotic Smoothie Recipe:
- 1 cup almond or coconut milk
- ½ frozen banana
- ½ cup frozen strawberries
- 1 Pro-Biotics Plus® Stick Pack
- Optional: add a scoop of your favorite protein powder
- Optional: berries and/or mint leaves for garnish
Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth. Garnish with frozen berries and mint. Enjoy!
